I work under a salaried umbrella contract (CDI) with Akuit. This means that, while my activity is independent, it is managed by this third-party company, which takes care of all the administrative aspects (such as billing, insurance, and social security). This allows you to benefit from professional services while having a simplified management of administrative tasks.
During our first exchange, we will clarify your expectations and the objectives of your project. This will allow us to better understand your needs and prepare for the next steps in the collaboration. This briefing is crucial to ensure that we start off on the right foot.
After understanding your project, I will provide you with a detailed quote. This quote will include:
- A summary of the services to be provided (e.g., creation of visuals, layout, website design, etc.)
- If wanted, an estimate of the time needed for each stage of the project: preparation, creation, validation, corrections, delivery.
- The applicable rate, which may be based on a flat fee (depending on the size of the project), or on a daily or hourly rate, depending on your preferences and the specifics of your business.
- Validation rounds: We will agree on the number of validation rounds. Each round may involve adjustments or corrections to ensure the project perfectly meets your expectations.
- Usage rights: If the project includes specific elements such as a logo or visual identity, the usage rights will be defined and discussed at this stage. These rights will be tailored to the intended use and the needs of your business.
- Source files: If necessary, source files (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) will be provided at the end of the project, with an additional 10% charge on the final price to cover associated costs.
This cost estimate will take into account the size of your company, the nature of the project, your specific needs, delivery timelines, and the usage rights related to the creations.
Once the quote is validated and the conditions discussed, you will be asked to fill out a client information form. This will formalize our collaboration and establish the mission contract. The contract will be signed under an umbrella employment contract, managed by Akuit. This way, you will only need to focus on the creative service, while Akuit handles the administrative management and billing. The usage rights related to the project will be confirmed when the quote is validated. We will discuss the elements to be included in the service, particularly for specific creations such as a logo or visual identity, as well as any additional charges for providing the source files.
